First boating day of my summer...

Landon invited the group all back to his house for some boating etc. It was very much like our Senior free day 2 years ago. Except with less people. Everybody has gone their own ways now so it's much harder to get together. Especially when some of them are over seas. Sunday night we played pool and then spent the night and part of the early morning playing Sardines...

If you don't know what that is it's basically hide-and-seek backwards and in the dark. One person hides and then everybody else has to find them and then get in that spot with them. Hence the name Sardines. You have to play with people you like pretty well, otherwise everybody hiding in a bath tub isn't so pleasant. Landon's house is in the country so it gets pitch black making it even more fun. I think it's currently my favorite game...
This particular time Caleb chose a very small spot and everybody was crammed in waiting for Landon...5 minutes later we all realized that Landon was and had been there for quite awhile so we had all just been smooshed in for nothing.
The Kurti's boat broke down on Sunday before we got there so we had to rent a pontoon but still had quite a bit of fun.
This lake has got to be one of my favorites. The water is very clean and it's up in the mountains. Do you see how low it is right now tho? the water should be at the tree line.
It was a perfect day, and the water was the perfect temperature. Bobby was getting a little too comfortable so...
Caleb and I attacked...
Flipped him....
And conquered.
Playing under the boat.

A few stunts...

Driving, not so exciting on pontoon. And good grief I wish they came with power steering. :)

You know I'll admit I was a little worried about the trip. We've all changed so much since high school and are running in very different circles but when we all came back together we immediately clicked, right back to where we'd left off. It's good to have friends like that.

Looks like such a good time. High school friends are the best! Cherish the good times while you still have them. Next thing you know you'll all be going even more your separate ways and it will take lots of $$$ to even be in the place geographically.

Yeah, even after 25 years when my academy friends get together we pick-up where we left off. Glad you could be with them again. Mom

That lake looks really low. That is great you got to get on the water this summer. Our boat is fixed now and we went out with Jaclyn and Carrie last night for the first time in over a month. Was it Lake Kiwi Carrie wonders?
