around the house

I feel like all I'm blogging lately is total randomness but what can I say, here's more. It's probably because I'm just taking pictures so I can play with my new camera

There it is!

Dad reading my manual for me because it's against my religion to do it myself.

The incredibly many bird feeders out our back window.

Dad out in the garden. And right above his head...
...is where these guys live. They're pretty new. Last time Dad looked they were still in eggs.
Sitting on the front porch.

Friday Events

I took my camera out Friday afternoon to play around with it so here are some random pictures of the evenings happenings at Family Camp.
Tanya really enjoys pizza for supper.

What we do when we are supposed to be taking down the cafeteria for the Worship Lounge
comparing tans...because that's what we do at camp.

Meagan, Me, Tanya, and Brianna, perfectly centered because of my new flip screen that will come out to the side. You can tell I'm looking at it lol.

Getting instructions for the peanut hunt of which there are no pictures because a I was too busy eating them.
This is what happens when I let people play with my hair.

randomness and a rodeo

Sorry, not a ton of pictures of camp partly because I didn't have a camera, partly because I just didn't have time to lug one around if I'd had one, but here are a few that I stole from some other people that had me it them.... and then since I have a camera now, there are ones from the Rodeo we had last night for Family Camp.

Everything gets amped up for teen week and one thing we do is the extreme team challenge. They each have a color for their team and they do some fun stuff. This is the eating challenge

I was the judge for the staff gladiator team.

Girl's counselors pulled a spirit week. This was bad hair day

See, it brings the boys when you look this good.

Friday night first half of the program.

my desk cam...and apparently they're all bird watching

Austie waits patiently in the mule

Uncle Rick's Wild West show with none other than Rick himself as the announcer

Tanya the indian, me the flag bearer wearing a flag, and Joey the red neck about to get on a mule.

Prayer before we begin

The end of the flag parade. Yes it's a bad picture but I'm putting it in here anyway.
Trick riding

Me and my odd self with Senator the grouch

Polly and Esther wait for the sheep penning event like sheep waiting for the slaughter

I have a whole ton of video from this too but since the camp's server doesn't allow large uploads, you'll just have to wait on those.
